You have decided to get a camera phone. After all, the phones with built in digital cameras can be fun and useful high tech devices. However, you know that there are so many options for camera phones out there. There are also plenty of different companies offering the devices. How do you know which one is right?
When considering different companies, like Samsung phones with cameras, you will want to look for different options available. There are actually five different features that you will want to consider. Some of these features may not be important to you at all, while others may be highly valuable. Look at each feature, decide which are important to you, and then look for camera phones that match the specifics.
1. What is the actual resolution of the camera? The resolution of the camera in camera phones can vary greatly. Many camera phones include such low resolution, that the picture is not good for anything other than viewing on the phone itself. As a rule, if you want a camera that you can actually print pictures from, choose a phone with a resolution of two megapixels or higher.
2. Is the phone Bluetooth capable? You may think that the ability to use camera phones wirelessly is not very important, but it actually can be. If you plan on printing pictures from the phone, then you will be able to do so much quicker if you can use Bluetooth capabilities to send your picture to the printer via a wireless connection.
3. Does the camera use a memory card? When looking at different companies, like Samsung phones, find out what memory card, if any, it uses. The memory in the phone itself will not hold very many pictures, so you will want to make sure you can add extra memory. Also, find out what type of memory card it uses so that you can make sure to purchase one.
4. What carriers will use this phone? Not all companies allow all brand phones on their networks. In addition, some phones are carrier specific. Make sure that the camera phones you like will work with the carrier company of your choice.
5. What extra features does the phone include? Some camera phones include really interesting extra features, like zoom, auto focus, and flash. When considering different products, like Samsung camera phones, look for any extras that the phone includes and decide if those extras are things that you want from your camera phone.
